If Madame Miriam has grown very, very tired of politics how much more of the Millions of Filipinos watching the endless Saga of Philippine Politics?
Much worst to quote Madame Miriam “I have to say that (Monday’s) proceedings did not constitute the brightest moment of the Philippine Senate. Our language and behavior did not serve the nation.” Thank you Madame for that very insightful words. The late Statesmen Carlos P. Romulo surely is very proud of you.
One of the greatest prides that I have to admit being a Filipino is WE have been credited as one of the best parliamentarians, speakers around. But with the latest development, the verbal tussle/ mudslinging of these supposed “dignified individuals” elected by the people of the Republic shown on National TV only constitutes how degradable the System is.
“Honorable Senator Choo Choo Train” Is this the way how you introduce/address a Senator on the Senate Floor? When in fact they don’t even have a sheer knowledge on what “Honorable” is. No amount of words would EVER explain or at least give justice to what happened.
I think now is the best time to do so don't you think? We need a NEW batch of Senators and if I say NEW it must be all 24 of them elected at the same time, I know it's not within the Philippine Constitution. Let us give HOPE, JUSTICE and PEACE to almost 80 million Filipino People.
Mirriam must have hit them bigtime. They should be! to think we elected or voted for these...these high profiled scumbags...kulang na lang sa kanila fist fight. and for Mirriam (despite the rage) she was simply ADORABLE.
